Yet!

Updated: May 3, 2024

I have been thinking about everything that happened during this last year. I still remember my first classroom meeting. Maybe no one knows that I started this Master's during the fall semester of 2022, and guess what? I quited! Yeap, I did! I still remember when I started my first meeting class. After this first meeting, my first thought was, " I can't do it," all my wrong beliefs began to go out to my mind and mouth.

Yes, and now I'm evaluating why. Why was I unable to start at least the challenges? Well, everything is clearer. It is labels on my life, comparisons of myself with other people, and the old fixed mindset that I never believed in myself before.

When I decided to start back the Master's program, oh Gosh, I felt this first fall semester going back. Now I can understand why it is so important to start with topics like mindset; honestly, this A.D.L. program is not easy, and not because assignments mean more than that, is because you need to face your own beliefs and fears; you need cross the river, you need to change your mindset you need to be an influencer in your self, you need to change your own opinion to your self to can change the opinion to the other people.

Going back...

I used to believe that constantly looking in the rearview mirror while driving is a bad practice. But now, I think it's essential to glance in the mirror, learn from past mistakes, and use that experience to improve. I have been changing my mindset to become more positive and resilient. However, there are still things that have happened that I'm struggling to come to terms with. But the growth potential is always present, and it started to shape and open doors to teaching and professional future.

This course works exceptionally well because I can give more than 100%. This time differs from other classes I have taken because I have lived the C.O.V.A. model since day one. The first two subjects helped sharpen my beliefs and mindset, giving me clear goals and expectations for the year. Being compassionate with myself but also determined has been the most essential part of this process.

Collaboration is the cornerstone of my success, and I am deeply grateful for my team. We have been working together since the first week of summer, and we are more than just educational partners; we are a whole body. If one of us fails, the other two always offer support.

Allow me to introduce you to my team, Adriana and Iliana. Here are some of my favorite collaborations together: Media project

It was crucial to take part in all the courses, engage in discussions, and contribute to them during Synthesis Digital Learning & Instructional Design Online. This was especially important for the instruction design feed and active participation to ensure the proper development of the modules and the course. I found it enjoyable to collaborate with other peers and read their assignments to continue growing and learning from different points of view.

I feel like I've made progress, climbing a few steps towards my personal goals and developing my innovation proposal. During this journey, I have gained valuable tools and skills that will help me face future challenges as a teacher and a human being. I will miss this time, but I am grateful for everything I have learned, such as leadership, organization, and a new perspective on education. I am excited to be a part of a group working to make a positive change.

Finally, I want to say that I regret saying that I couldn't did it, I regret not knowing that I could do it yet.

In any case, I did it and I'm ready for more!
