Our objective with the digital learning application is to focus our teaching and tools on the student, If we make our environment learner-center we can use technological tools effectively and our lessons as teachers in the right way, not focused on technology but yes focused on the learning of our students creating meaningful learning environments.

When we use a lernerd-center teaching method such as COVA, we are giving to our students the opportunity to choose, own their learning, use their voice to reflect on what they have learned through authentic learning opportunities.
“While the acronym COVA is somewhat authentic, the elements of the COVA approach to learning which include choice, ownership, and voice through authentic activities or assignments are based on well-established and widely accepted active learning principles” Harapnuik. D. (2018)
The importance of giving our students meaningful connections such as the use of an e-portfolio we give our students the opportunity to share through reflection their experiences and learning, when students reflect, they are getting an authentic learning and is allowing you to self-question and in turn search for your own research on what you want to learn, allowing you to connect and collaborate with your community.
A last reflection, as a teacher I take the responsability to empowering my students to be independent in their thinking, I know that as a pre-k teacher it is challenging because they need a lot of support especially when they have never had reference with education, but I also think that giving them that independence and responsibility makes them feel them capable, and without limits in front of their learning. If we sow this learning model from an early age, we will have students who are interested in studying and filling themselves with knowledge.
